Heather Hodson

Co-Owner/Administrative Director

Heather is the Administrative Director of Nexus Pointe and “Mom Coach” of the Nexus Pointe Diamond Dancers competition/performance team. She has a degree in early childhood education and has over 30 years of experience working with children and youth (from summer camp counseling and directing after school programs to owning and running a preschool, leading girl scouts and church youth/children’s programs, coaching varsity and competitive cheerleading and dance teams). Her passion has always been about working with youth, especially in regards to building their self-esteem and helping them realize their significance and potential.

Heather is also our studio’s Zumba instructor. She was one of the first Zumba instructors in Texas, where she owned her own dance fitness studio and taught up to 20 Zumba classes per week beginning in 2007. She taught Zumba, Zumba Toning, Zumba Gold, Aqua Zumba, and Zumba for children. She is excited to bring her classes to Morehead, where her classes will feel like a party - dancing away the pounds the shaking away the inches!
